Watch this budgie get instant relief from a severely overgrown beak. An overgrown beak this severe is often caused by liver failure. Liver failure is usually caused by an all seed diet, but since this bird has been getting a fairly good diet with some fresh foods, it's possible he has an inherited liver problem or another issue contributing. Thankfully, the caretaker of this flock has committed to get this individual medical attention, and he will see what can be done to save him. In the meantime, this bird can rest a lot more comfortably tonight and eat a lot more easily. This is just the beginning of his road to hopeful recovery. I hope that one good deed can lead to a chain reaction of education and raising awareness.
