#ad Bringing people together for Matariki, one fry bread at a time 🌟 Thank you @woolworths_nz for helping us bring our community together, now to find a horse whisperer to start Gillies year right 😂 1 tbsp yeast 1 tbsp sugar 1 cup chilled milk 3/4 cup boiling water 4 tbsp oil (we substituted with butter) Combine above and let yeast bloom for 15 mins (liquid can't be too hot or cold else the yeast won't activate) Add 4 1/2 cups flour Pinch of salt Mix into dough and let it rise Roll out and divide into pieces Cook oil on high Add dough pieces to oil Flip when golden Once cooked, Add butter + jam (my fav combo) #nz #matariki #frybread #food
