Speed Quick Rules 💨 ⬇️ Speed is a fun game for two players. All you need is one standard deck of cards! How to play Speed: Goal: Be the first to get rid of all your cards. Setup: Deal each player 20 cards: 5 cards in hand + 15 in a face-down draw pile. Place two face-down 5-card side stacks in the center. Place two single cards face down between them How to Play: Play cards one at a time onto either play pile—must be 1 rank higher or lower (e.g., 6 on 5 or 7). No turns—play as fast as you can. Refill your hand up to 5 cards from your draw pile anytime. Stuck? Flip a new card from each side stack to refresh the center piles. Saved this Lego botanical set and more favorite decks on our AMZn Storefront! 🌺 How to play Flower Garden Solitaire 1️⃣ Setup: Deal six columns of six face-up cards each. These are your flower beds. The remaining 16 cards form your bouquet. Hold these in your hand or lay them face up on the table below your flower beds. 2️⃣ Goal: Build four foundation piles in suit, starting from Ace to King. 3️⃣ How to Play: 🌷Flower Beds: Only the top card of each flower bed is available for play. Cards buried in the flower bed must be revealed in order to be used. 💐Bouquet: The cards in your bouquet are all available for play. Building: You can move cards from one flower bed to another, building down, ignoring suits. You can move cards from the bouquet to the foundation piles or to other flower beds. Any empty flower bed can be filled with any card. 4️⃣ Win: Get all cards onto the foundations in order! Even if you don’t win, you can keep score by counting the number of cards you have left in your bouquet and garden rows when you’re out of moves. Try for your lowest score! It's time to have the hard talk. The Kallax just isn't a great shelf option for board games. I don't know how it happened that they became the official "board game shelf" but it's time we helped new gamers with growing collections find a better solution. Do you agree? If you have a kallax, do you love it or just begrudgingly keep using it?

The clear all around winner! I love how much of a workhorse these shelves are! The Hemnes are a great option for a ready-to-go shelf that will work for all your games, big and small! There are truly so many great options. Before the Hemnes we used wire pantry shelves. Beautiful? Not at all. Workhorses? Like you wouldn’t believe! I still recommend them! If the first card you draw matches ones in front of other players and you choose to steal, if stealing these cards would give you 3 or more cards, you now are in danger of busting should you draw that card again.

While I’m bummed it doesn’t work great larger games, (unless you’re in Europe, your Billy bookshelf is deeper you lucky dogs!) the Billy bookshelf truly is a great option for your small to medium size games. I especially love that you can buy extra shelves to up the storage capacity even more! Such a game changer!

Short on time, but not on fun! 🍹 Pina Coladice is such a fun blend on the familiar Yahtzee style dice rolling and player positioning to get the most points while blocking your opponents. Plays well for both young and old! 🔢 Slide is simultaneously a challenge to yourself to get your best (lowest) score, with the occasional offensive draft to stop someone scooping up a game winning card! 🪷 A Gentle Rain is easily the game I get the most messages about — it's the perfect solo game for everyone, even players who don't often enjoy solo games! Which one would you want to play first?

The Tonstad has entered the chat! I've been so impressed with this bookcase! While not perfect (I really wish it had six adjustable shelves!) it's one of the best options for larger, heavier games and honestly, I love it for everything else too. A classic beauty! You can always use pretty bins or a smaller, narrower shelf like the Billy for your small game collection. Would only having 5 shelves bug you? Or do you like the more open look?
