if you need a meal that impresses 👩🏻‍🍳😘 GARLIC CHICKEN & MASHED POTATOES: 1) Heavily season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper (both sides!). Add 1/2 cup of flour to bowl. Dip chicken breast in flour (again, both sides!). 2) Melt 1tbsp butter and 1tbsp olive oil in pan. Once melted, add chicken. Cook on each side until brown. About 4 minutes! After both sides are cooked, put on plate. Chicken doesnt need to be fully cooked, it will finish later. 2B) Well the chicken cooks, I get mashed potato started. Scrub 2 russet potatoes. Dice potatoes! No need to take skin off. Boil a pot of water. Once it is boiling, add potatoes and a few pinches of salt. This takes care of itself so forgot about it and go back to tending to the chicken 😘 3) leave all juices and burn marks in chicken pan. Add 1 tbsp butter and 12 garlic heads. Mix for four minutes (make sure to mix! They will burn otherwise). 4) Once garlic is browned, add 3/4 cup chicken broth, 1 tbsp lemon, and 1 tbsp garlic powder to pan. Let it bubble until about half of it is evaporated. 5) Add 1 cup heavy cream. Mix together. Add chicken back into pan. Cook for another 5ish minutes. Really, you are just cooking until the chicken is cooked through. I am psycho so I use a meat thermometer 😆 6) Back to the mashed potatoes. Drain water from pot. Add 2 tbsp butter and 1/2 cup of milk. Mash the potatoes. Add more milk if you need it! Season with salt and pepper. It is sooooo good!!!

honestly love hosting because it forces me to reset my house 💥 1) tidy up 2) vacuum furniture (seems crazy but promise it makes you look so much cleaner) 3) put up pics on pin board 4) clear jackets from hooks 5) spray counters 6) take out trash and put new trashbags on 7) vacuum first floor 8) add toilet paper to powder bathroom 9) light candles# 10) put on a playlist!
