I've heard about this hike for years but I thought it was too hard for me to do. I'm hear today to tell you you can do this! It's 2.8 miles and 900 ft of elevation gain total, but there are benches to stop and rest at and there are alot of switchbacks so the elevation gain is moderate. I'm telling you this one is definitely worth the effort, please leave no trace and enjoy! 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I usually use this park as a place to train for the Manitou Incline, but it is sooooo much more than that. It almost literally has something for everyone, making it the best place to get a great workout in, go for a stroll, bring the kids, or have a picnic. Share this one with a friend and go check it out!

This was an instant favorite for me. Alltrails says it's rated easy but it definitely felt more moderate to me with the up and down around the lake. It was definitely worth it though! This trail also links up with the continental divide trail and the Colorado trail so you can hike it as far as you want to.

This place means so much to me. It's where I de-stress, meet community, or just recreate. Its where the city of Aurora gets its water. I've seen some many wildlife species here and enjoy the fresh air right outside the city. Unfortunately a new proposal, that is in its final stages, to drill less than a mile away from the reservoir puts all that at risk. Today I got to hangout with a couple community members that are fighting back! Stand with them and follow @savetheaurorareservoir to stay updated. This one is a long drive for a day trip, but it couldn't be more worth it! There's an ADA acessible path leading up to the waterfalls, so this one is good for everyone! This park is even more beautiful during the lush early summer months, and it does get packed, so go now during the off-season or take an early day trip to avoid the crowds.

...Im not sure what my takeaway from this was....I was really anxious when I sat down to make this video but as I rewatched the clips of pronghorn running with pikes peak in the background I calmed down...Im glad it didn't go worse....took me a little while to process this but I think I would still call this a good day

This is literally one of the most unique hikes in America, and it's only 20 minutes from Denver! This one is free from sunrise to sunset, but it's more than worth it to take a tour with a geologist. Amazing and educational for all!
