I started airdry clay last year, in June 2024. after making my first piece (the magikarp tray) I wanted to quit lol. airdry clay was way harder than I had expected, but thanks to you guys (& my friend pech), I kept going!! I still have a long way to go! but hopefully I’ll keep improving! I plan on recreating some of them too, like the tomato can and Kirby swimming pool! I didn’t really create many pieces because I sometimes get too lazy to deal with the clean up process. hopefully for this year, I’ll continue to make more and more pieces and improve! I’m planning on trying out different airdry clay brands too, either das or jovi! hopefully it’ll crack less and be easy to blend! if you guys have any suggestions for what clay I should try, or what I should make next, please lmk 🙂‍↔️💕 #airdryclay #painting #sculpting #airdryclayideas #handmade #DIY #craft #crafts

I felt like sculpting this because when I went to water the tomato plants, I saw about 5 caterpillars hanging out.. eating my tomatoes… I currently have one in my plant pot. ramen 🍤 ⁣ inspo @Jae 🎀 !! she did an udon bowl tutorial and showed how to make the bowl! I’ve been wanting to make a ramen item for a while but never could figure out how to do the bowl. I tried to shape it by hand. Then tried to shape it with a ball tool, and nothing worked LOL. So I’m super happy how this turned out!! I love learning from other artists, thank you Jae for showing your process 🙇‍♀️ I wanted to make this a keychain but forgot to add an eyepin! I should have made the pieces a little smaller though bc they kept getting stuck!
