This is what my hairstylist does when she cuts my hair: - U SHAPE: this style of cut is perfect for waves and curls because it stops the triangle dilemma most of us have. It happens when the thickness of your hair is the same root to ends leaving a triangular shape. - SHORT TO LONG LAYERS: shorter layers add volume and dimension to the top of your hair while long layers provide the length and shape to your ends. This also provides a fuller shape to your curls once again avoiding the triangle shape. Its adds more of a loose c shape when viewed from the side. - FACE FRAMING: Personally I love having face framing pieces. I keep line around chin lemgth bc I change my hair part often (middle and side).Keep in mind that if you go shorter and wear your hair to the side and middle that the curls may stick straight up when wearing to the side. - CURLY CUT: I personally do not enjoy a curly cut bc I will wear my hair straight every now and then. Curly cuts can be great for those who wear it curly almost exclusively! Do your research to see which option is best for you. - when going to a stylist make sure you tell them about how your hair naturally lays. For instance I have layers but when it comes to the bottom ! keep my underneath shorter than most probably would bc it does not curl up like the rest of my hair meaning it appears longer and causes a visual dosconnect from the previous layer! #curlscheck #curlyhaircheck #curls #wavyhairstyles #wavyhairroutine #pinterestinspo
