This is the hardest thing our family have ever had to go through. Having children go through this too is so tough. As a parent it took a lot to let my kids go through this and see her after she passed. I strongly believe it was the best decision we ever did. Yes it makes them upset but atleast they understand. Atleast they get closure. Unfortunately it’s part of life and we can’t keep them sheltered forever. I couldn’t have them asking where is she. Thinking we simply got rid of her. They needed to understand. Millie was such a important part of my children’s life. She was there from day one watching all of my children grow. Helping them. Teaching them love, kindness and compassion. So much to the point as Millie was getting weaker they did everything they could to take care of her too. It’s so hard even now nearly 6 months later. It taken a lot to post this but I want to give many others families too the strength and also to give our opinion that it was the best thing we ever did. We still talk about her. Still watch videos of her. She will never ever be forgotten. To many of you across the world she meant so much. So imagine how much she meant to our family. We miss you so much Millie. We will never forget you. Fly high and run free beautiful girl💖.

This was one of the hardest thing we also ever had to do. I didn’t want the dogs thinking someone who taught them everything they knew just left without saying goodbye. It’s hard finding the balance between upsetting the dogs are helping them understand. She looked so uncomfortable Lola seeing her old best friend like that.
