since the first video was so serious, I wanted the second half to be happier because honestly he’s with me all the time. thank you to everyone who sent love my way, gizmo would be so happy that everyone’s paying attention to him

not to downplay what happened to me yesterday, but I do think that it was a reminder that that the best thing we can do in times like this is stick together. everyone just kind of watched a car full of men accost me and say nothing. they were so comfortable they parked their car and just sat there after. the thing is people are less likely to become targets to individuals or the police state when they feel like the communal force is too strong to take on you know?? imagine how quickly they would've driven off if they felt like someone was there to defend me but everyone kind of just looked the other way. We can't look the other way. We need to be there for each other. we need to make each other feel safe, and it starts with small stuff like holding doors and small talk, and can lead to so much more
