We wanted to update you on kimmy but ALSO take the time to walk you through the shelter—where we unexpectedly found our ✨dream dog✨ if you aren’t able to foster or adopt just know you can volunteer or even take a pup out for the day or night! 🐾❤️‍🩹 want to use my platform to share the place that changed our lives! Best Friends Pet Adoption Center in LA! KIMMY UPDATE: As mentioned in my previous videos, we started fostering these 2 puppies at only 6 weeks old when their litter of 11 was found without a mom! After about 3 weeks, kimmy was adopted by a family with a couple inquiries, but no one was interested in adopting kanga. After lots of conversation and life changes, we adopted kanga the week after! When going to fill out her adoption paperwork we saw that kimmy was back on the adoption site, indicating that she was returned by her family. She was then fostered by another family but was returned again. We are unable to foster her as the shelter said that puppies get adopted easily so they prefer to keep them on the adoption site. The shelter is so amazing and they let us come visit and have some alone time with her. We brought her toys, puzzles, treats, and even were able to clean her up a bit. If she’s not adopted over the weekend we will come back to see her again!
