We’re back and this year we’re celebrating 10 years of hope, love and partnership between @Subaru of America, Inc. and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (@LLS ). #Sponsored Last year when I partnered with Subaru I was able to meet 8 year old Jelien, a cancer survivor and thriver. We were able to spend some time together and I think Jelien caught the “doing good bug” because this year, she wanted to surprise and support some patients who are currently on their cancer journey. We met up to deliver Subaru Loves to Care packages along with a little love and support to some friends at the Infusion Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. We danced, we laughed, we cried, and shared stories with one another. Sometimes, simply being present with those navigating a cancer diagnosis makes all the difference in their day — and on the hard days, reminds them of what they’re holding on for. I am so thankful that once again Subaru gave me the opportunity to be part of their initiative. The diagnosis was very honest and said prepare for the worst…we don’t think we found it in time….🥹🤟🏽 here I am!!! I love you. Cancer is not the only hard thing!! Trust me… How to fight: 1. Pray no matter what 🙏🏽 ask the lord to help you 2. Write 3 things everyday what you are grateful for no matter what!!! Change your mindset. 🩷 3. Move everyday for at least 15 min. 🙌🏾 4. Music put music on and just dance 5.
