California Threatens To Stop Paying Taxes As Trump Threatens To Cut Funding #usa #california Trump is preparing to cut funding to California because they don’t align with his political views and California is saying that they’ll stop paying federal taxes if that happens. No state has ever attempted to stop paying federal taxes but it’s also pretty unprecedented to withhold tax funds from a state. California is the 4th largest economy in the world, pays 100B more in taxes to the federal government than it gets back, and is the largest agricultural, manufacturing, culture, and tech state in the country. They are by far the most powerful state and 1 in 8 Americans is Californian. If California stopped paying federal taxes, red states would really struggle as they require California’s taxes in order to fund their states. Currently there is a growing secession movement in California. There is a ballot initiative that is collecting signatures to have Californians vote on whether to leave the US. And a poll taken in January of this year by YouGov shows that 61% of Californians believe the state would be better off if it seceded. They are not the only ones feeling this way, MGT infamously called for a national divorce. And polling shows 1 in 4 Americans would support blue states and red states becoming two different countries.

The Administration is reportedly looking at having governors of red states order their national guard troops into blue states without their consent. Trump Demands Iran Make Peace As War Begins #usa #america Trump says that Iran should make peace immediately and that they shouldn’t attack the US back or the US will hit them again. Iran’s IRGC says “The war has begun” and Iranian State TV is airing the message “Mr. Trump you started it and we will end it”. They’re also saying that every American citizen is now a target. The Iranian defense minister warned earlier today that they will strike US bases in response if the US were to attack. And now US bases in the gulf are at their highest alert status as they await Iranian retaliation. The Iraqi government is now rapidly deploying security forces to the US embassy as Iranian militias are likely to attack it. The Houthis say they will resume striking US ships. The damage at the nuclear sites is said to be “Enormous” and US officials say that the strikes were “Very successful”. With some media reports saying that Fordow no longer exists. We now know that 6 B2 bombers dropped at least 6 15 ton bombs on Fordow and the other two sites were hit with at least 30 tomahawk missiles from submarines and destroyers. Trump reportedly hopes that his bombing of Iran’s nuclear facility will bring about diplomacy. The US allegedly reached out to Iran before the strikes to say that they were bombing the nuclear sites and that no other strikes are planned. Iran says that they removed all of the nuclear material out of the sites in advance to avoid losing it in the US air strike. Members of the House have started calling for Trump's impeachment because he started a war without the consent of Congress.
