I cried making this video 😭 Something I didn’t mention in the video is that I used to live in an apartment with my sister, and as Archie kept growing, he quickly surpassed the weight limit. On top of that, he would bite and get aggressive with me as a puppy. Some people tried to convince me to give him up, and at one point, I even opened an adoption page but I cried so much just thinking about it that I knew I could never do it. 💔 I was stuck in a lease and had to figure things out, but I was determined to put in the effort to properly train him and eventually move out, and that’s exactly what I did! Now, he’s almost 5 years old and such a good boy. 🥰 If you’re struggling with your puppy, just know that the biting is just a phase, and with patience and consistency, it will get better. Everything takes time, and it’s SO worth it in the end. I hope people take the time to do their research before getting a pet and learn from my mistakes. Adopt don’t shop! Part 3 The footage from my parents house after spending all night caring and finding resources for this poor sweet boy. I have another part to this but it was a long conversation. Much of the logistics were spoken about inside the home and on the phone later. As of now he’s been to the vet and he had X-rays but he needs an MRI which is extremely expensive. Please excuse my tone in this convo. I become unfittingly humorous when I’m uncomfortable, anxious, or have witnessed trauma. He didn’t deserve any of what he went through and it there are details we still haven’t shared. However, we are at my parents house in FL for my daughters surgery. We have to go back to AZ and he needs a foster here. He is currently with my friend Gracie but she can’t keep him there.
