When designing the Y-String we wanted to create the most comfortable string underwear so we made the gusset wider to prevent slips/front wedges and put a Y-shape fabric design in the back to prevent and string chafing or irritation- the string only starts near your tailbone to keep that minimal line look. Plus, it’s made out of cotton with no annoying tag- ours is screen printed on. We worked on this design for over 6 months with multiple sample tests and fittings.
