When we bought this 40 year old remote cabin on Svalbard, last year, we knew we had some work ahead of us. It had not been renovated in over 30 years and the previous owners had smoked indoors, so pretty much everything had to go. Since the cabin is off-grid with no road access, we had wait until snowmobile season this year, to begin the transformation! We white washed all of the walls, drove out all the new furniture on snowmobiles and spent weeks putting it all together. We are so happy with how it turned out!
