✈️ Yep. Delta is using AI to price tickets. They’re moving away from static ticket prices and embracing AI to automatically adjust pricing. They started testing this idea with 1% of tickets, then bumped it up to 3% and now they’re planning to bump that up to 20% by the end of the year after Delta’s president said they’ve seen ‘amazingly favorable’ results. We know airlines change prices based on a ton of factors (we suspect some of this includes our online searches) but Delta is unique in how they’re openly embracing AI to price tickets. (P.S: the firm offering this tech also partners with Virgin Atlantic, Azul, WestJet and VivaAerobus, but it’s unclear how those companies are currently using the tech.) If you’re a new parent (or buying gifts for one) - this one’s for you. 

These baby products are more trouble than they’re worth. 

I have 2 toddlers, I got sucked into some of the ‘new mom’ marketing, but trust me, less is more. You don’t need a lot of the stuff the registry lists tell you to get. 

These tips could save a life but at the very least, it’ll save you some money. 

And if you need alternatives, here’s some ideas:

Instead of a lounger, use the crib, play yard, bassinet or a baby mat or gym for the floor.
A bouncer/swing works too but never for sleep.

Instead of a baby walker or activity center- let the baby pull up on furniture around the house like your couch and you can get them a push walker toy. 

Neck floats- none. Hold the baby. 

Weighted blankets- a regular wearable blanket or swaddle without the weights.

I only do this when I’m 100% sure it’s fake & check multiple different ways, plus I report it. Chances are I can’t identify most counterfeits but when I do, I want to make sure no one else gets scammed. So far I’ve caught a few and Amazon usually responds quickly if it’s a car seat but with other listings they’re slow imo. Uber is testing a new feature in the USA that allows women users to set ‘women preferences’ for Uber rides. This comes after tons of women drivers and riders around the world expressed that they’d like the option of being paired with women. They can pre-reserve rides with women, set preferences (not guaranteed), & order on demand where they’ll see the estimated wait times. 🚨 Parents- be on the lookout for counterfeits. I got lucky that my son didn’t see these fake cars or it would’ve been nearly impossible to return. Of course the best way to avoid it is to shop directly from the retailer, which I tried to do, but the recommendation algorithm got me. And when you do come across a counterfeit, report it.
