Let me tell you about it’s magic 🪄 . I did this at 40 weeks + 6 shortly after a membrane sweep and 15 minutes into this position contractions started. There are 3 positions that you do. You do each for 30 minutes so in total 1.5 hours. I know it’s long but it can really get things started. It can! This is not a promise. What it does it that it helps baby to get into an optimal position in the pelvis. Position 1️⃣: Open-Knee Chest Get on all fours, drop your chest to the floor, and keep your hips high. This helps baby move into an optimal position. Position 2️⃣: Side-Lying Release Lie on your side with your top leg supported at a 90° angle. Relax deeply to open the pelvis and encourage baby’s descent. Position 3️⃣: Open Lunge or Curb Walking Use a chair for support or step onto a curb with one leg, creating a gentle lunge.
